Oral health for the UnderserveD

The blessings we receive are not ours to keep. They are for us to pass on and share with others.

Happy Smiles Monday

Cansilayan Elementary School, Philippines

Due to the rampant dental disease, we implemented Brushing and Flossing within the Elementary School curriculum through KRIS SmileCare. We teach children in orphanages and elementary schools proper oral hygiene and nutrition and provide them with the tools!

‘Happy Smiles Monday’ is our first and current pilot program through the Cansilayan Elementary School. See their poster contest below. Their understanding of oral healthcare prevention is mind-blowing!

I hope to see the general disease prevalance in addition to oral disease prevalance decrease with our efforts.
— Dr. Hyun S. Bang, DDS, Co-Director KRIS SmileCare
During mission trips, there are lines and lines of people waiting to get their teeth extracted. What we thought is the best way to prevent this is to teach good habits to children from their youth so that this situation can be prevented.
— Dr. Faith Victoriano, DDS, Co-Director KRIS SmileCare
We chose an elite school in the Philippines to begin this program, with hopes to eventually work with the Department of Education to bring KRIS SmileCare as a regular part of the elementary school curriculum in all of the Philippines!

Orphanage Building Project

The vision of a young orphan girl came to fruition through her adopted parents; the K.R.I.S. Kids Rise Inspire Soar Foundation. Neneng Dufala, CEO, adopted mother of Krissy, gave up her long-standing Silicon Valley career and dedicated her life to lift up yet another orphan from her home country.

K.R.I.S. Campus

Home Genesis & Home Hadassah

K.R.I.S. has successfully built two loving homes, Home Genesis and Home Hadassah, and most recently held the ground-breaking ceremony for their third home! Already several children who were wandering the streets have been designated for this home. Orphan children are adopted into the KRIS family with the KRIS House parents.

Uplift a Child - donate
